  2. When it comes to exercise, do what makes you happy. If you can’t stand the gym and hate going, find some other way to get your exercise in. Walk the beaches at sunrise, take your dog on a run, wash the car every weekend, or take the kids for nightly bike rides. When you truly enjoy the activity, you will be much more likely to hold yourself accountable to performing it regularly.
  3. Change your habits, slightly. Simple habit changes like parking further away from the store is a great way to get a little more active. Consider taking the stairs instead of the elevator or trading in the leaf blower for a rake instead. They may seem like they won’t make much difference, but when you make them a habit, the benefits quickly add up!
