Bond Thomas has been practicing Chiropractic in St. Petersburg for more than 20 years. He is fondly called “Dr. Bond” by his patients.
Dr. Bond was educated at Shorecrest Preparatory School from kindergarten to twelfth grade, where he played tennis and ran cross country. He completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Business from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He then began his education in Chiropractic at Life University School of Chiropractic in Atlanta graduating in 1997. During his four years at Life University, he studied courses including biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Life University Public Clinic. After graduating, Bond entered a six-month internship program in St. Augustine, Florida before returning to his hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida, where he practices today.
Dr. Bond Thomas is a fourth generation native of St. Petersburg. His grandfather, Ninian Bond, moved to St. Petersburg in the 1920s where he and his brothers established the Bond family hotels. Bond grew up working in the family hotels; he found those years to be an invaluable life experience, and he attributes his practice’s customer-focused philosophy to those years.
Dr. Bond is married to Carla, a physical therapist. They are proud parents of daughter, Cate, and son, Keller. When he is not practicing, Bond enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, running, reading, bible study, Rotary Club, traveling, cooking, gardening and live music. Keeping up-to-date on the latest cutting edge nutritional, Chiropractic and wellness related information, is a top priority.
Dr. Bond is the past-president elect of The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg and is currently serving as secretary and is on the Board of Directors. He volunteers as a healthcare provider and serves as the Chiropractor at the St Petersburg Free Clinic.
